BRIEF

The concept aims to establish a creative and recreational hub in a suburban community. Students must provide comprehensive design concepts based on site investigation and precedent studies. Students will create narratives that respond to the environment and community in a given context. They will also investigate the environmental poetics of building enclosure design solutions that reduce environmental impact through complex typologies of spatial organisation and passive strategies for sustainable design. The design should complement the surrounding environment.
