PROJECT 1A: POETIC ASSEMBLAGE: < CHOREOGRAPHY + ENVELOPE >
BRIEF
Project 1A aims to promote collective research, knowledge sharing, and individual bodily-conscious inspiration through a poetic design process inspired by native culture-inspired contemporary dances. Students observe and document bodily movements, using ethnographic drawings to understand the dance's meanings. The project's outcome will be a Choreography-Informed Envelope for a Bodily Conscious, Affective, Expressive, and Experimental flagship construct for a Pas de Deux.
OUTCOME
Consider spatial typologies, section-plan linkages, and contextual variables while developing a design, and communicate it effectively to peers, professors, and industrial architects.

Reflection on Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities (TGC)
Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills (TGC 3):
Projects 1A and 1C required critical thinking and creative problem-solving, particularly in reconciling cultural narratives with architectural design. These skills have prepared me to approach challenges with innovation and adaptability.
